DISTRICT 3 | Arlington - Fort Worth Area
District 3 has been working to engage and energize the nurses in the greater Fort Worth area! Board members set up booths at the University of North Texas' Nursing Career Fair, Texas Health Fort Worth's Shared Governance Committee and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center's Professional Development fair. In November, District 3 will volunteer at Community Food Bank to distribute holiday meals to our neighbors in need. This event will mark D3’s 5th time volunteering at Community Food Bank, and third time serving the community during the holidays!
DISTRICT 9 | Houston - Galveston Area
District 9 held its annual Mock Trial event in February! This event is always a success and is a great learning opportunity for nurses in the Houston area. In April, D9 members attended the TWU Lunch and Learn event. At the Memorial Hermann TMC Nursing Professional Development Fair in May, District 9 set-up a booth to represent TNA.

Introduce yourself to TNA district leaders. Learn what activities District members participate in both locally and at the state level. And, ask what priorities they are working on with local members.
If you do not see your district listed, reach out to learn about how to re-activate it. If there isn’t a district leader listed, we encourage you to take the opportunity to fill that role.
