Our family loves playing in the water. From the backyard to creeks, from puddles to the ocean, and everything in between! Sprinklers or slip-n-slides are a big highlight of summer afternoons. Most importantly, our safety swim classes that teach our kids how to rescue themselves. My husband and I also like to make refreshing drinks, which is especially appreciated in those Texas summers. Don't be surprised if you find us at an ice skating rink in the middle of winter either! No matter how we cool down, we like to do it together.

I cool down by enjoying ice cream and spending time with my two kiddos at the splash pad. Watching them laugh and play in the water is the perfect way to relax and refresh after a long day. It’s all about sweet treats and sweet memories!

I love to craft, and just got back into doing it recently. It's hard for me to relax because I want to make sure I close the loop on all the things I'm tied to. I love my team and want to be sure they are taken care of, but doing that can cause me to neglect me. My mind is free when I'm making things—and cooking.
